Uganda requires the following scanned documents for the eVisa application which can be found on this official website:
- -Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
- -Passport information page
- -Passport Photo
- – Trip Itinerary
- -Flight Information
The last two are not mandatory but the application doesn’t get approved without them
It takes a maximum of 5 working days for your visa to be approved.

Once you have your printed eVisa, make sure you bring along originals of:
- Covid-19 vaccination certificate
- PCR test taken 72 hours before departure
- Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate
- Passport
You will need to complete this passenger locator form and pay 30USD online prior to your journey for your covid test on arrival at Entebbe Airport. Print this along and bring it too.
Please budget 1-2 hours after landing in Entebbe Airport to go through the procedures for the covid-19 test on arrival.
When you arrive, you will receive a sticker in you passport as you pass through passport control.
